We aim for our products to be as natural as possible, but in some instances synthetic ingredients are used because of their efficacy or scent profile. Not all natural ingredients are safe, and to ensure that all our products are produced to the highest standard of safety, we will use safe synthetic materials from time to time to obtain the best formula for your body and skin.

Our products are extensively tested and contain luxurious ingredients that aren’t a problem for most people.

With that said, you should always test on a small patch of skin before using. People have different levels of sensitivities and allergies, so please ensure you read labels and look for any specific ingredients you may be sensitive to in order to determine what product is right for you.

All of our balms are used for topical applications only, but when in doubt, always check with your physician before using any products containing essential oils.

Because we try to use all naturally derived ingredients within the formulation of our products, it means that most of our products have the potential to separate or melt in extreme cases. Stability in extreme temperatures only happens when products use synthetic stabilizers. Since lotions and balms are made primarily of oils, their composition can change when exposed to heat and cold. If that does happen, it doesn’t mean the product has gone bad, it simply means that it may separate the ingredients from their emulsified state or change the feel or texture of the product.

We cannot guarantee that your product will remain in its original state if you leave it in a cold or hot car, for example.

Yes. Our candles are clean burning, biodegradable and natural. Our candles are made of virgin coconut, soy and a small amount of food- grade paraffin wax which is gluten free, toxin free, paraben free, phthalate free and comes from renewable sources.

We use wooden wicks which are ethically sourced from US-based Forest Stewardship Council Certified Mills. Our candles are skin-safe and have been clinically tested and dermatologist reviewed.

It is always important to follow candle safety guidelines when using our products:

Never leave a candle unattended.

Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep burning candles away from furniture, drapes, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, etc.

Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Do not place lighted candles where they can be knocked over by children, pets or anyone else.

Never touch or move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is liquefied.

Don’t burn a candle all the way down. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1/2 inch remains in the container.

Extinguish a candle if the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly. Let the candle cool, trim the wick, and check for unwanted drafts before re-lighting.

Never use a candle as a night light or while you may fall asleep.
